This blog is basically a blog that is created for everyone to share their comments or opinion on social networking issues.
Social Networking - perhaps you've heard of it before, but are not quite sure what it means.
Social networking is the grouping of individuals into specific groups, something like small communities. Although social networking is possible in person, especially in schools or in the workplace, it is most popular online. This is because unlike most high schools, colleges, or workplaces, the internet is filled with millions of individuals who are looking to meet other internet users to develop friendships, business partners, and relationships, too.
When it comes to online social networking, websites are commonly used. These websites are known as social sites. For example, Facebook, Friendster, Hi5, FriendFinder...and so on. Once you are granted access to a social networking website you can begin to socialize. This socialization may include reading the profile pages of other members and possibly even contacting them through email or messenger.
In a social sites, anyone can become a member, no matter what their hobbies, beliefs, or views are. However, once you are inside this online community, you can begin to create your own personal profile and network of friends and eliminate members that do not share common interest with you or you dislike them.
Sounds fun, right?
As I'm sure you're aware, there are dangers associated with social networking.
We hear special reports from TV news and many news on newspapers too that report about social networking issues. The dangers often involve online predators or individuals who claim to be someone that they are not. Although danger does exist with networking out in the real world, it also exists with networking online, too. Just like you're advised when meeting strangers at clubs and bars, school, or work -- you are also advised to proceed with caution online.

the danger of social networking is more dangerous for teenagers especially those who from high school and female, because they dont have the mentallity to analysis thus when somebody from internet asking for hanging out they will accept the offer without any hesitation and the bad things start happening..the disadvantages are leser for adults tho....
ReplyDeleteya totally agree with this!!! for us a college student and teenager, i think that we know what is should and shouldn't. Thanks for the further expalanation and introduction about this! I should expalin this to my parent then they will have more unserstanding about social networking because not only we need to know, we also need to update our parents once in a while.

For me there are the advantage and disadvantage but because of this social site`i can see what message that my friends send it to me.
